I woke up this afternoon after sleeping the day away (darn graveyard shift). I laid in bed and processed out the latest collection of images I had saved on my phone for this project. I plan to download some more so that I can create more art. I have no clue how many I’ve created so far. I plan to do at least 500 of them (I think – maybe). That’s going to make a huge art book (maybe too big).
I’ve been thinking about what the posting schedule will be for this project once it actually kicks off. I am thinking that for the first few months I will schedule one post per week. That would allow me to set this blog on auto-pilot for awhile and continue working on more important things. Then later on I can increase the number of posts per week to two or three.
We’ll see how it goes. I’m in no hurry. It’s just something for fun. Tonight I’m at WI-FI camp (my phrase for hanging out at McDonald’s for wifi – because I refuse to pay for home internet right now) working on more important things, so who knows when I’ll work on this project again. Follow to stay posted.
New blog coming soon.
It’s Friday, March 2nd, 2018 as I write this first blog post on my new Secret Doors Gay Art wordpress blog. Just wanted to announce that soon (sometime this month – hopefully! – provided other projects don’t interfere) I will begin sharing some erotic gay art I’ve created from some favorite photos I’ve found and have been hoarding for ages.
There is also going to be a matching blog on tumblr for this project at https://secretdoorsgayart.tumblr.com/.
Here on my wordpress blog you’ll be able to download a FREE pdf ebook containing the art images I’ll be sharing on these blogs.
It’s going to take me a little while to get this project going as I’m still in the process of creating the art, and then I have to edit the ebook I want to put together, and then I have to (want to) upload that to this blog so that I can immediately start sharing it as soon as possible when I start showing the art.
About the art, it’s photos found online at tumblr, twitter, and facebook groups that I process in art filter apps. Some may not call it “art” since it’s photo manipulation, and for those that don’t like it, well I say don’t view or download it because photo manipulation is a form of art. Anything that involves a process of creating something that didn’t exist before, whether as original, or a derivative form, is art. If you are aware of the art app called Prisma, then you have an idea of the type of art I’ll be sharing, however I’m not using Prisma. I’m using a different, and better app called Painnt.
I may also share some of my personal hand drawn, and digitally drawn art on this blog as well just to show that I do have some art skills other than just running photos through an art app. We’ll see 🙂
Anyway, if you’re on tumblr and/or wordpress and you love art, especially male erotic art, then follow my blog. The art will be coming soon. Thanks for visiting and checking out my first blog post on this new blog.
